Working student (f/m/d) Data Science - Predictive Maintenance

We build a rock-solid foundation by putting in place the processes, organizational structures, technical infrastructure, training, and enablement to support broad adoption of our solutions. We will pave new ground to transform Heidelberg Materials to a modern data driven company.

Within the Data and Insights Team you will report to the Manager of the Advanced Analytics and MLOps team. You will work closely together with (a) experienced Data Scientist(s) in the context of Predictive Maintenance in the HProduce agile product team.

Thereby, you work with sensor data and predictive analytics which help a wide range of users.

Your next challenge

• implement and update the existing maintenance tools as we role out our product to more cement plants
• develop, explore and improve models using data science and statistics
• adapt the product code base when features are improved or newly integrated

Your profile

• Quantitative study background such as STEM or related
• Strong programming knowledge (e.g. Python)
• Experience in data analysis and modelling
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong, proactive team-player
• You are fluent in English (written and spoken)
• You take responsibility of your tasks within the product team
